TASK FORCE 'THEORITICALLY' AGREES ON INDEPENDENT JUDICIARY

The High Level Task Force formed under the leadership of Maoist Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal for sorting out various contentious issues in the reports of the Thematic Committees of the Constitutional Committee have theoretically agreed on keeping the judiciary system as an independent constitutional organ.
The meeting of the High Level Task Force that convened on Friday agreed that the proceedings and appointments of the Judiciary system will be conducted by an independent unit informed the coordinator of the High Level Task Force Maoist Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal.
However the parties have not yet reached any agreement over the structure, formation and constitutional status of the unit and thus will be discussed in Saturday's meeting.
